Simulated Game Day, Gun Fit & Familiarisation
To assist guests to make the most of their Scottish Pheasant Hunting experience it is important to be familiar with expectations for the days ahead.
As a precursor to your week, we start by providing a unique insight to the etiquette and traditions of pheasant hunting based at our superb sporting clay ground, ensuring you are familiar and comfortable with what is expected both from the providers of the sport and from you as our guests.
We start with a briefing to ensure everyone understands the format for the days to follow, safety in the field and etiquette. You will have an opportunity to meet your guides and instructors, ask any questions you may have and importantly be fitted with the appropriate shotgun should we be supplying on your behalf.
A light lunch will be included and the day continues by shooting various simulated drives including simulated Pheasant flushes where targets are randomly thrown to test your skills in reediness for the field. Our qualified A.P.S.I shooting instructors will be on hand to help improve your skills to make the most of your hunting experience.
